I guess I always find "about me"s difficult to write because I either sound like I belong on myspace or someone who tries too hard to be profound. I'll start with the basics: My name's Ramelcy, and I'm from a little place you might have heard of known as New York City. I consider myself a Feminist and have an opinion on just about anything and everything. My tumblr is my own and no one else's so I'll post whatever quotes, rants, pictures, and random bullshit that I want. I guess it provides a bit of insight to who I am or at least I think I am? Don't hesitate to say hello. Follow and enjoy or not ?

In Awe.

I’m finally home to stay after 3 days of Prom celebrations & then going off to Bowdoin for my oldest sister’s graduation.

These last few days have been an amazing blessing, and I feel so lucky to have enjoyed such awesome days back to back (to back)!

Nothing could express my happiness and no fucks given attitude right now. Hollaaaaa!

That’s What I Fucking Call “Taking Initiative”.

Me and some of my friends saw there weren’t any after-prom parties worth going to soooooo

Instead we’re throwing our own house party in Harlem AND we’re going to make money off it. I can’t fucking wait, everyone’s down to go. We about to make shit get real, know why? Cus:

Photo reads: To me, feminism means choice! I can choose to shave my legs and I can choose not to. There is no ‘right answer.’ One option doesn’t make me any more or less of a feminist than the other. I can share or not shave whatever the hell I want to because it’s my choice.
I’d like to add that it annoys the hell out of me when women who don’t shave think they’re doing something super special and make assumptions about why women who choose to shave do so. How much body hair any of us has is our business, and how much body hair we choose to have is a personal and private decision that shouldn’t be up for public debate — including, and especially, by feminists.

“You have control over your own body. It is your choice, your choice to say what you want, how you want, and who you want it with.” -Best quote of the day.
