I guess I always find "about me"s difficult to write because I either sound like I belong on myspace or someone who tries too hard to be profound. I'll start with the basics: My name's Ramelcy, and I'm from a little place you might have heard of known as New York City. I consider myself a Feminist and have an opinion on just about anything and everything. Basically sums up my day.
I spent most of my day in Brooklyn at a conference held by the Caribbean Women’s Health Association. I attended different workshops, learned a shitload more about contraception, got lots of free stuff, shook my a$$ to Soca, and listened to Congresswoman Yvette Clarke speak. Good stuff.
Basically sums up my Saturday night. Plus some pizza, physical violence, and me dressing up in my bestfriend’s ghetto attire. Yeah, it was a good night.
