I guess I always find "about me"s difficult to write because I either sound like I belong on myspace or someone who tries too hard to be profound. Sometimes the work I have is so minimal, I just be straight chillinnn and updating their media outlets daily BUT then every couple of weeks, my boss goes HAM. She expects 2-4 hours of work to get done in one day. She acts like I don’t got shit to do!
I sometimes wish I would have picked an easier place to intern at instead of this “non-traditional” fucking intense work setting. lmao I mean the best part is I’m getting a great experience, and this could possibly lead to a summer job or networking opportunities.
(And working from home in my pj’s is a plus too.)

This topic I can definitely relate to as someone who was told in high school that I “act white” because I got straight A’s, and in college, “I thought you were stupid until you spoke” because I’m black. (Had to compress it all crazy to get it to upload to Tumblr. It had to be removed from “other outlets” due to verbal content.

Returning to School Reminds Me
That I indeed attend an all-girls Catholic school. Like personally, I don’t give two fucks because I go to school to receive an education, but talking to people about my school annoys the fuck out of me.
Girls are always like:
“There must be soooooo much drama and catfights!”
No, the drama is like in every other high school. There is nothing special about all-girl schools saying that we will have catfights like the the scene from Mean Girls. Also it depends on who you associate yourself with and if you’re one to look for drama like in any school.
Then guys are always like:
“So you guys have a lot of lesbians right? Your school must have a lot of freaky girls? I know how ya Catholic school girls get down…”
I don’t know? I don’t count the lesbians. If anything, some girls seem way more boy crazy. And no, you don’t know how Catholic school girls “get down”. STFU and stop watching porn with naughty school girls!

Going To An All-Girls School Is Not As Bad As Some People Assume
Yes, there are no guys.
Yes, we have to wear uniforms.
Yes, there is drama.
Yes, the girls get extremely annoying.
Yes, sometimes it smells like a giant bleeding vagina. (I kid I kid)
But your experience like any other high school is based on who you surround yourself with and how much you take and give in every situation.
So I choose to surround myself with laid-back, fun, smart, awesome girls who are going places. Call me corny, but fuck it, it’s the truth.
